McKinley Village Underpass featured in Landscape Architect Specifier

The McKinley Village Underpass proving that light doesn't just have to be at the end of the tunnel! The underpass’s state of the art LED lighting system creates a dynamic urban space and a distinctive work of public art. This distinct LED light instillation not only stands as a stunning visual experience, but also provides abundant light for pedestrians, bicyclists and vehicles; converting a potentially boring underpass into a positive place and experience. The LED light installation is also fully programmable, providing the opportunity to change color and effects when desired, including holidays and special occasions.

In addition to serving as the entrance to McKinley Village, the underpass is the starting point for the McKinley Village Art Walk, a public art display that features 10 art installations by local artists throughout the McKinley Village residential neighborhood.
